What is color developer?

It is mainly used for tone-on-tone coloring. But it only lasts a maximum of 2 months on the hair.

Its particularity is that the coloring is not applied to the entire surface of the hair, but allows the natural hair color to show through in certain areas. This creates beautiful effects with visible highlights in daylight.

Professional use: applying color developer

When applying it, you must be careful with the doses and, above all, respect them for a beautiful result. Indeed, the dose depends on what you want to achieve and the natural hair color of your client. Otherwise, you risk making the color turn into an undesirable finish and seeing a client leave.

After respecting the dosage, mix the developer in a bowl. Then, prepare the hair (by dividing it with a fine-toothed pintail comb) and apply the color from the ends to the roots.
For application, it is generally recommended to wait 25 minutes.
