1. How does the promotion process at Gouiran Beauté work?
The majority of managers are promoted internally, which is an important value for the company and for employee development. Each comes from a very different background and has contributed to the company (skills, management, soft skills...). Promotions are often the result of discussions between several people and are therefore the subject of thoughtful choices that are consistent with company policy.
2. What is a typical day like at Gouiran Beauté?
Every job is different with its own daily tasks. But beyond a typical day, each day can be different, versatile, allowing everyone to thrive in their work.
3. What flexibility is offered to employees in terms of work schedule arrangements or remote work?
In the offices, employees have the option of flexible hours, arriving earlier or leaving later to allow them to find a balance between professional and personal life. Since June 1, 2022, Head Office teams have benefited from a fixed day of teleworking per week. Store schedules are provided in advance and, as far as possible, with fixed days off each week to allow for a balance between personal and professional life. Logistics teams work in fixed rotating shifts to enable everyone to organize their professional and personal lives.
4. How often do salary increases occur at Gouiran Beauté?
Each employee receives a pay raise at least once a year, either through an individual or a general increase. For example, in 2023, in addition to minimum wage-related increases, a general increase was decided to offset the inflation experienced by employees over the past year, despite the inflation also borne by the company.
