Multiple Nail Files
Before you begin, the texture of your nails and their nature (natural or artificial nails) are important factors to consider.
The cardboard file is the basic file and the one found everywhere. It's great for using outside the home as it fits into any bag. So, as you can imagine, use it occasionally.
The glass file, on the other hand, is recommended for natural nails. It is gentle and has fine grits. It is the ally of fragile nails.
Finally, metal files are recommended for artificial nails as they are hard and abrasive.
Which Grits to Choose?
All files have the same characteristic: they have two layers covered with grits. But the size of the grits varies, so you need to take that into account.
There are generally 4 types of grits: fine grits, medium grits, coarse grits, and extra coarse grits.
The 80 or 100 grit nail file
This one is preferable for filing and shaping resin or gel nail enhancements (as they are thicker). Since the grit is coarse, it is used to remove excess enhancement (and thus file the surface of the nail).
The 180 grit nail file
Less coarse, this file is used for toenails and to make enhancements more transparent.
The 240 grit nail file
This is ideal for natural nails. Fine, this grit is perfect for filing around the edges of nails. Turn to the Beautélive 240/240 double-sided washable nail file.
White sanding blocks
Moderately coarse, its grit is useful for preparing the nail before enhancement. It removes imperfections.
Buffer block or polishing file
These will polish the nail and make it shiny. For natural nails without polish, the Beautélive 4-sided buffer block is, for example, the accessory to turn to.
Tips for Perfect Filing
You need to take a few precautions to get optimal results:

- To get the shape you want, start by filing the edge and then the center of the nail.
