Changing your haircut is one of the most complex things to do, especially when we want to reinvent ourselves.
But then, how to choose your haircut? We will see that changing your haircut is not just a matter of desire, but also a matter of face shape.
______________
Knowing your face shape
There are 8 face shapes
-
Step 1: Tie your hair back so your face is clearly visible

-
Step 2: Take a picture of yourself

-
Step 3: Print or use a large screen to measure your face by following the next steps

-
Step 4: Place 8 different points

-
Step 5: Connect the different points following this model

-
Step 6: Place letters A, B, C and D

-
Step 7: Measure the drawn lines to compare the measurements
Determine your face shape based on your measurements

- Square: B, C, and D have the same measurements (within a few centimeters) and A and C are not very far apart in terms of measurements.
- Rectangle: B, C, and D are identical and A is larger than C.
- Round: B, C, and D are practically identical and A has almost the same measurement as C.
- Oval: B and C are larger than D and A is 1.5 times greater than C (C x 1.5 = A).
- Oblong: B, C, and D have the same measurements and you have an elongated face.
- Diamond: C is larger than B and D, and B and C are smaller than D.
- Triangle / Heart: B is equal to C and B and C are larger than D.
- A-Triangle: D is greater than or equal to C and D is greater than B.
Choose your cut according to your face
Square: Get bangs, dare to do it! Bangs were made for you, and on top of that, let your hair grow out so it falls below your chin.
Rectangle: Opt for medium to long haircuts with layers to soften the contours of your face, as well as bangs.
Round: To break up the shape of your face, you can opt for length and volume.
Oval: Only one restriction: your imagination! You can do anything, so DARE.
Oblong: To break up the length of your face, opt for a haircut with volume on the sides and you can add bangs.
Diamond: Opt for cuts that add volume to the forehead and chin, such as bobs with bangs.
Triangle / Heart: Have long hair and avoid bangs.
A-Triangle: Get bangs and an inverted bob.
